Who doesn’t love to argue? To be able to speak your mind and convey your convictions. Every argument we engage in, could make us to feel like Nelson Mandela.
Arguments are part of life, we are always bound to involved in a verbal brawl once a while. The circumstances leading up to an arguments varies.
The results of argument also varies. You can get beaten up after an argument, you can have a serious fight with your partner after an argument, you can also have this fulfilled “put them in their place” feeling after an argument.

I know that health benefits of arguing sounds strange to you. Because you could feel that health mainly involves physical health. Well arguing doesn’t cure cancer or AIDS, it benefits our mental health more.
Specifically the health benefits of arguing are more applicable to interpersonal relationships. Now let’s get down to business.
First, Arguing reduces cortisol level in your body. Cortisol is a hormone in the body, a stress hormone. Cortisol , when released would increase blood sugar and stress levels. Engaging in argument will decrease the cortisol level.
Secondly, let me ask you, how do you feel after you just avoided an argument that you could have used to let out your mind? Answer : You’d feel worse.
But on the contrary if you engaged in the argument and voiced out all your thoughts you should feel much better.
Arguing improves our mood and enhances our mental health.
Thirdly, couples who avoided verbal confrontation lived shorter lives compared to those who let it out. I think this study is right. If you keep bottling up all your problems from your loved one, you will hardly be in a bright mood.
Couples who argue love each other more and are more intimate.
Avoiding argument will lead to aches, pain and lingering emotions.
