1. Change your menstrual pad at least twice a day

It is recommended that you change your menstrual pad every 6 hours to avoid contamination and infection. But considering the cost of prices and financial challenges some women face, you should at least change your pad twice every day to stay fresh. 

2. Keep yourself warm 

This is often neglected but staying warm during your period helps with cramping.

3. Increase your magnesium level
