The study shows white Americans with light coloured eyes are at higher risk of eye diseases than black Americans with dark coloured eyes. The sparsely of light-absorbing pigment in the eye is considered the factor behind this.
These genetic conditions are not under our control. But some safety measures at the initial stages can save you from bigger encounters later.

1. Eat a Healthy Diet
The first step in keeping your eyes healthy is to give proper nutrition to your body. Include food with omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A and vitamin E in your diet regularly.
