  1. The first step is to eat the oranges so that the peels are left behind.
  2. Then scrape the white substance on the inside of the peel called pith.
  3. Dry the peels in sunlight for one to two weeks.
  4. Now, break the dried peels into a glass jar and add vodka to it. The vodka should soak the peels; its level should not exceed the level of the peels.
  5. Shake the jar and seal it tight
  6. Keep this mixture away from sunlight for four to six days. Occasionally shake the jar.
  7. Later, use a filter to drain the oil into a bowl.
  8. Cover the bowl with a porous material such as a towel and leave it for 24 hours for the alcohol to evaporate.
  9. After 24 hours you will be left with the citrus-scented orange oil.
  10. Store it in a cool dark place.

Before using this oil on the skin, make sure you do a patch test.
